Dick Barrymore was one of a small group of ski movie makers who traveled each year throughout the country showing and personally narrating their latest creations. He made nine 90 minute films including, The Last Ski Bums and 30 short films. He caught on two of his films some of the earliest days of freestyle skiing. His sense of humor and creativity delighted hundreds of thousands of ski enthusiasts and helped to promote the sport. In 1997 he published BREAKING EVEN, his autobiography which chronicled many adventures during his colorful career.
